Sewer Line Project
Project Background
OVERVIEW
MILLVILLE CITY has selected Whitaker Construction Company to do the construction work on the new sewer line installation throughout the city. Work began in November 2022. and will continue through Fall of 2025
IMPACTS
Crews have been working through since fall of 2023 on the new sewer line pipe. Work began near 100 South and 200 West. It is anticipated that it will take 7-10 days to lay pipe within each city block, weather dependent. While crews are working within a block, street access will be restricted to local traffic only. As work approaches your property, we encourage you to review the city drawings of the sewer plans on the project website. If you want the location of the connection changed, or if you need the height of your connection brought a higher elevation please let us know as soon as possible. Find the drawing HERE
SAFETY
Please drive carefully when traveling through construction areas and pay attention to all traffic signs, barrels, the workers, and equipment operating within the work zones.
